Rock River Valley Division NMRA meeting and “Show and Tell” railroad modeler Meet

Doors open at 12:30 PM and the short business meeting for NMRA members starts at about 1:00 PM.  The NMRA member meeting will be followed by a Meet that is open to all railroad modelers and friends. 

Clinics:  “Show and Tell” photos, videos, and/or stories by various members who want to share their recent railroad and modeling activities 

Contest:  Selfie photo (5×7) with prototype (railroad 1 to 1 scale)
Winners are determined by popular vote.  First prize includes a gift certificate to an area hobby shop.

Layout Tour:  For the Sept. 10th Meet, we will be going to Charlie Wickhorst’s Chicago, Milwaukee and Gary (Rockford Route) and Tom Maladecki’s Chicago, Malady Bay and Pacific.  These two layouts are also open for RockRail 2017 on the afternoon of Sept. 9th Meet so if you miss them on Sat. you might catch them on Sun. from about 3:30PM to 5PM.  Maps showing the layout location will be provided at the Meet 

NOTE:  As usual, to avoid Labor Day weekend, the date of this meeting is not the 1st Sunday of the month.  Unfortunately, the date of this meeting is in conflict with the last day of RockRail 2017; however, we hope as many of you as possible will be able to attend both events.
