Doors open at 12:30 PM and the NMRA member short business meeting starts at about 1:00 PM.  The NMRA member meeting will be followed by a Meet that is open to all railroad modelers and friends.

Clinics: There will be two presentations. The first will be by Ed Rosengren of the Illinois Railway Museum who will update the group about what is happening at the museum including recent and future restoration, long range plans for  equipment procurement and general campus development. The second presentation will be by Jim McQueeny who uses paper towels and paint to make scenery landforms.

Contest (Popular Vote): This is a special contest to create a diorama of a railroad scene. The diorama should not be much bigger than 12” x 12”. The purpose of the contest is to build scenes which will be displayed at local public libraries during November which is National Model Railroad Month.

Typically, a self-guided Layout Tour goes to at least one area layout after the Meet.  Maps showing the layout location will be provided at the Meet
