The Chicago & Northwestern Historical Society is having their annual convention in Rockford the weekend of May 20.  

The weekend will feature a cookout at Rochelle Railroad Park and presentations on the 18th, area highlights bus tour and presentations on the 19th, a day at IRM on the 20th and a swap meet and model layout tours and ops on the 21st.  Evening keynote speakers will be Mike Schafer (18th), Mike McBride (19th) and Nick Fry from the Barringer Railroad Library in St Louis (20th)

The meet is being held at the Rockford Holiday Inn at 7550 E. State St.  The lodging meet rate is $79.95 per night (ask for the C&NWHS rate)
